Detailed Itinerary
Approx. 4.5 to 5 hours drive. Overnight stay in Munnar.
- Our driver meets you at Kochi airport or railway station and you begin the climb to Munnar.
- Stop at Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls along the Western Ghats road.
- Short spice-plantation visit with a guided walk through cardamom, pepper and clove plants.
- Photo stop at a scenic viewpoint before checking in to your hotel.
- Evening free to unwind or stroll the local market for tea, spices and homemade chocolates.

Full day local tour. Overnight stay in Munnar.
- After breakfast, head to Eravikulam National Park for views of rolling grasslands and a chance to spot the Nilgiri tahr (advance online booking recommended).
- Visit a tea museum to learn how leaf becomes cup, followed by a tasting.
- Continue to Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point for lake views.
- Evening at the Blossom Hydel Park or the Rose Garden before returning to the hotel.
Note: Eravikulam is generally closed during the calving season (usually February to March). We will suggest an alternative if your dates fall in this window.
Approx. 3.5 hours drive. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
- Scenic drive through tea and cardamom hills to Thekkady.
- Check in and rest, then explore the Periyar Tiger Reserve area. Boat rides on Periyar Lake are popular (book ahead).
- Optional evening: Kalaripayattu martial-arts show or a Kathakali performance.
- Optional: spice-garden tour or experiences at ethical, licensed centres only.

- After breakfast, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha), the gateway to Kerala's backwaters.
- Board your private houseboat around noon with a welcome drink.
- Cruise through palm-fringed canals and village stretches while lunch is served on board.
- Evening tea and snacks, followed by dinner (candlelight set-up on request) as the boat is moored for the night.
Note: Houseboat check-in is typically around 12 PM and check-out around 9 AM. Cruising hours follow local regulations.

- 25% advance payment is required to confirm the booking.
- Remaining balance must be paid before the tour commencement date.
- Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation upon receipt of payment.
- Payment can be made via Bank Transfer, UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, or approved online payment methods.
- Any increase in taxes, fuel charges, transportation costs, or government levies will be payable by the guest.
- Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 30 days before departure: 75% refund of the package cost.
- 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the package cost.
- 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund of the package cost.
- Less than 7 days before departure: No Refund.
- No refund for unused services, no-shows, or early check-outs.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–14 working days.
- Important Notes
- Flight tickets, train tickets, permits, and third-party services are subject to their respective cancellation policies.
- In case of natural calamities, weather disruptions, road closures, strikes, or unforeseen circumstances, refunds will be subject to hotel and transport provider policies.
- Flying Carpet Travel reserves the right to amend itineraries due to operational requirements or circumstances beyond control.
- Standard hotel check-in is 2 PM and check-out is 11 AM.
- Rooms in hill stations may be non-AC because of the cool climate.
- Peak-season dates (Christmas, New Year, long weekends) may carry a surcharge or mandatory gala dinners.
- Sightseeing depends on weather, road and local conditions. Alternatives will be offered where possible.
- Museums and some monuments are closed on specific weekdays.
- Carry comfortable shoes, light woollens for Munnar and a rain layer during monsoon.
- Boat and entry tickets should be booked in advance during busy periods.
