DAY 1Cochin – Munnar (140kms/4hrs)
Arrive at Cochin airport, where you will be received and transfer to the lovely hill station called Munnar filled with tea plantations and misty mountains. The drive to Munnar is very scenic crossing the narrow hair pin roads where you can see beautiful valleys, tea gardens and small waterfalls enroute. On reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 2Munnar
After breakfast start the sightseeing tour visiting Mattupetty Dam where speed boating and horse riding can be done, Top Station and Echo Point - Echo point gets its name from the natural occurrence of echo here. It is a popular place in Munnar and many people come here to listen to their echoes. Later visit the tea gardens and spend some time over there. Overnight stay at Hotel
DAY 3Munnar
After breakfast start the sightseeing tour visiting Eravikulam National Park and Rajamala Peak - This place is the natural habitat of a rare animal known as the Nilgiri Tahr. The place is located around 2700 meters above sea level and makes an ideal spot to relax and rejuvenate oneself, Tea Factory (subject to permission granted) where you can witness the entire process of tea production and its processing. DAY 4Munnar
After breakfast full day leisure. You can go for Shopping or to spend time in Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at Hotel
DAY 5Munnar – Thekkady (130kms/3.5hrs)
After breakfast leave Munnar and drive to Thekkady (also known as Periyar) which is famous for its spice gardens and wildlife reserve. The drive from Munnar to Thekkady is also very scenic with tea gardens, dense woods, spice gardens and on reaching Periyar, check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 6Thekkady
After breakfast visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread in an area of 777 sq km, of which 360 sq.km is thick evergreen forest, the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a tiger reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mulla Periyar dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. Here, you can enjoy the unique experience of observing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. If lucky you can see the wild animals coming near to the lake to drink water and graze. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 7Thekkady – Kumarakom / Alleppey (140kms/4hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the lovely backwater destination called Kumarakom/ Alleppey. On arrival, check into the hotel overlooking the backwater. Here you have the option for ayurvedic massage, speed boat, county boat, sunset cruise etc. Overnight stay at Hotel
DAY 8Kumarakom / Alleppey (Houseboat)
Leisurely morning in the resort after breakfast and by 12.00pm your private houseboat will pick you from the nearest boat jetty and take you to backwater cruise towards Kumarakom/Alleppey. During the cruise you can see ancient temples, churches and can watch the day to day life of the local people who live close these canals. We shall also arrange fishing rods (on request) in the houseboat for your children to do fishing during the stay. Your crew will prepare delicious Kerala food for you and shall take good care of you. In the evening the boat will be anchored in a village where you can go for walk to mingle with the local people. Overnight stay at the Airconditioned Houseboat.
DAY 9Kumarakom / Alleppey (Houseboat)
After breakfast disembark Houseboat at 9 am, you will be picked by our driver and transfer you to Kanyakumari – Land’s End - mainland India’s southernmost point, where three seas meet and where the shore temple to the virgin goddess, Kaniyakumari stands. It is one of the sacred pilgrimage places of the Hindus. There are two significant memorials here. One is the Gandhi Mandapam, built to commemorate the immersion of the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi in the waters by the temple. The other memorial, dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, is built on the rock 656 ft. from the shore where he meditated in 1892 before taking the message of the Hindu philosophy to the West. DAY 10Kanyakumari – Kovalam (90 Kms / 2 Hrs)
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive back to Kovalam. This is a famous beach destination in South India. This beach has been the favorite haunt of most Europeans since the 1930s. The Kovalam beach has wonderful Sapphire blue waters and palm trees swaying to the salty breeze. It is known as the paradise of the South. On arrival check into Hotel and relax for sometime. Rest of the day leisure at Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 11Kovalam
After breakfast, if you are crazy you can spend full day at beach or you can go for a sightseeing tour to Trivandrum city, the capital of Kerala. There you can visit Sri Chitra Art Gallery - houses paintings from the Mughal, Rajput and Tanjore schools of art. Besides these, the gallery has a rare collection of paintings by Raja Ravi Varma, Svetoslav and Nicholas Roerich. An Oriental collection consisting of paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali are a visual treat to the visitor. You can also visit Zoo, Museum, Shangumugham beach etc. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 12Kovalam – Cochin (220 Kms / 5.5 Hrs)
After breakfast checkout from Hotel and Proceed to Cochin. Check into the hotel and relax for sometime. Afternoon start the city tour visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace , St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening enjoy private sunset cruise in the harbour. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 13Cochin
After breakfast you can go for sightseeing of Hill Palace Museum and Kerala Historical Museum. Afternoon you can spend time at Marindrive Walkway. Here you have the option for boating at Cochin Backwaters. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 14Cochin (Departure)
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and do shopping visiting the fabric, textile and jewellery shops Cochin City . In the late evening you will be transferred to Cochin airport to board your flight back home.
